I quit
I never thought I’d ever do this.
- I uninstalled Tribes 2 last night
I’ve become too good at Tribes 2. Over the weekend, I realized that in the prior week, my team had only lost one game, and that was because I had to pull my laundry out of the dryer and fold it before it got cold. I am no longer impressed by the awesome mid-air shots I can pull off in Tribes 2. I am no longer impressed by how badly I can rape the enemy base. I am no longer impressed that I can rally my team from a 4 flag capture deficit to win by 1. When you are this good, there’s no point in playing anymore. Will I just end up playing some other game? No. Tribes 2 is the best multiplayer game ever made. No game ever has or ever will meet that standard. There’s no point in playing any other game. - No more trading
I have come to realize that it is impossible to position trade in a bear market. The turns are vicious. If you are off by one day, you will get creamed. Unless you day trade, you will die (and that is assuming you can make money as a day trader). The market is rigged and I am sick of the incessant BS I hear every single day. I saw my 31% YTD profit go up in flames to -2.5% YTD in one week. (And the 31% YTD profit came after a 15% YTD loss just 7 weeks before that.) That’s what happens when you leverage up the wazoo with options. Do it right and your account balance shoots the moon. One bad step and you blow your brains out. Just watch. I probably covered my short positions at the worst possible time. Oh well. On top of that, after I dumped all of my options, I did a scalp daytrade on SRS and made $10. Now I’m thinking I should have held longer. Someone please shoot me.
Wow, I am going to quit two of my biggest time wasters in two days. I can’t believe it. What am I going to do with myself? I will actually have free time.
This is a big milestone. Wow. I’m staying tuned in to see what will happen now.
